Scientific Name- (Momordica charantia)
Human use bitter gourd (uchche) as a vegetable. Middle of the bitter gourd (uchche) is thick, but two ends are narrow. Bitter gourd(uchche) has triangular fleshy spines. Large fruit trees are known as bitter gourd and small fruit trees are known as uchche. Smaller fruit contain relatively more Iron and Vitamin.

𛲣Medicinal Properties of Vegetable Bitter gourd (uchche):-
Bitter gourd, its leaves and its creeping stems have medicinal properties. The juice of the leaves is useful in Nausea, Laxative. It is beneficial in inflammation of liver and inflammation of feet. Bitter gourd and its leaves are useful for Deworming, Hemorrhoids, Leprosy and Kamela. It is used as a main Hemorrhage.
𛲣Use in Curing Disease:-
- Take the seeds of bitter gourd(uchche) and squeezing the juice from its core. Then heat it a little and take two teaspoons twice a day to get rid of indigestion.
- Some persons have fresh blood with Diarrhea but do not have Hemorrhoids. They will benefit by chewing eight to ten bitter gourd flowers twice a day.
- Take three to four grams of dried seeds of bitter gourd(uchche) finely crushed. Then add it with with seven or eight teaspoon of water and taken once a day and vitamin deficiency in the body is eliminated.
- The crush dried leaves of bitter gourd (uchche) heal wounds.
